If you are currently employed by an Island employer, you can apply for a permanent residency nomination through the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) Skilled Worker stream. Employer-driven, the Skilled Worker stream allows Island firms to fill high-skilled positions that aren't available on the local labour market.

INORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE

• Have a full-time, non-seasonal (permanent or minimum of two years) job offer from a PEI company in a high skilled occupation classified as skill level 0, A, or B by the National Occupation Classification (NOC)(link is external)
• Have worked full-time for at least two years in the last five years
• To work in Canada, you must have a valid work permit
• Have legal status in the country where they live
• Have a postsecondary degree or diploma (minimum two year programme); be between the ages of 18 and 59; and have sufficient English and/or French language competence to execute the work. One of the following methods can be used to verify language ability
• Alanguage test with a minimum CLB/NCLC 4 score from an IRCC accredited testing centre within the last two years
• Have the financial resources for the applicant and family to cover all immigration charges (including travel expenditures) in order to establish themselves in PEI; and show a genuine desire to live in PEI

To be eligible for nomination through PEI Express Entry, you must:

• At least one of the federal economic immigration programmes' requirements:
  • Federal Skilled Worker Program
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program; or
  • Canadian Experience Class
• Create a Federal Express Entry Profile to be considered for a position. IRCC allows you to create a profile at any moment.

Depending on whether you have a work offer in PEI or not, there are two paths to permanent residency under the PEI Express Entry Category. Applicants who live and work on PEI will be given first priority.

Application Fee

Creating an Expression of Interest profile is free of charge. If you are chosen to apply for nomination by PEI, there is a non-refundable cost of $300 CAD that must be sent with your application via electronic transfer.

After the nomination:

If you are nominated by PEI, you must accept the nomination by logging into your MyCIC account and accepting the nomination. You must submit an electronic application for permanent residency with all supporting papers and fees through your MyCIC account after being invited to apply by IRCC. All applications for Permanent Residency must be decided by the IRCC.

To be applicable for the Entrepreneur Category, the applicant must:

• Have a net worth of $400,000 and $350,000 in liquid assets like cash, bonds, and stocks.
• Make a $200,000 investment in their company.
• Please include a detailed business plan.
• Submit $100,000 with their PNP application (the $100,000 will be refunded to the applicant after the business is created).
• As a good faith deposit, place $25,000 in escrow with the Government of PEI (this is only applicable to Immigrant Entrepreneurs). Once the applicant has lived in PEI for one year, the deposit is refunded.
• They should be launching a business and working for themselves.

If you are currently employed on Prince Edward Island, you can apply for permanent residency under the Critical Worker stream of the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). Employer-driven, the PEI Critical Worker stream allows Island firms to fill intermediate-skilled roles that aren't available on the local labour market.

Only Licensed Immigration Consultant is permitted to act as your representatives under Canadian law.

Licensed Immigration Consultant will represent your case from start to end and all the correspondence will be
made directly by the agent to the Immigration department.

1. Professionally trained and educated on the entire immigration procedures,
2. Exceptional knowledge of immigration laws,
3. Authorized to represent at any stage of immigration,
4. WHEREAS the RCIC and the Client wish to enter into a written agreement which contains the agreed upon terms and conditions upon which the RCIC will provide his/her services to the Client.
5. Will have latest updates of any changes made to immigration laws & procedures.
6. Documentation review, submission, and verifying that all the Client (s) documents immigration applications and paperwork, meet the requirements of the Immigration Regulations. Preparing and filing the Client application with the appropriate visa office. Communicate with the visa officer until a final decision is reached.
